How I got started

I learned from the best: my Portuguese father and uncle, who were top‑notch mechanics in their own right. I was fortunate to learn the practical skills needed to tackle weekend garage projects and more ambitious restorations. This is my journey back into the grease — torquing, welding, fabricating and much more as I reconnect with the craft and the community.
